This was my first time photographing a wedding at Aston Hall and it did not disappoint.
The wedding of Shantelle and Daniel was my third of the weekend. The previous two days I had been in Birmingham and then Nottingham so it was great to be back in Sheffield the city I grew up in. I call it my home away from home .
Myself , Shantelle and Daniel have been on one heck of a journey together since the start of 2017. I have photographed their engagement session at Potteric car nature reserve and both side of the family at Kelham hall and Stapleford woods.
Sunday the 26th of August 2018 was the day of the wedding and in true English style we got rained on. Did this change the mood of the wedding ? hell no !! Shantelle and Daniel had been together since they were 15 so 10 long years together and they were not about to let rain ruin the biggest day of their lives. You could see both families had such a close bond and everything they did was family orientated, this was solidified in bridal prep when Shantelle gave her father a gift , as he opened the box and unwrapped the paper he pulled out a book which contained their family tree dating back to 1755!!!!
If you want to see an emotional rollercoaster of a wedding this one is not to be missed!I for one can't wait to document the next chapter of Shantelle and Daniels life and I also can't wait to return to Aston Hall to photograph another wedding.
